Support Class Action Lawsuit in TN
Stop Expansion of Poultry CAFOs in Bedford County Chicken confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs) are located throughout Tennessee with there being 137 in Bedford County alone, the most in the state. At 40,000 birds per chicken house, there are over 5 million confined chickens just in Bedford County, polluting the air and water while providing consumers unhealthy food. An effort is underway to stop further expansion of CAFO’s in Bedford County. We are asking for help from Tennesseans. Please join the Food and Water Watch organization (foodandwaterwatch.org); the membership cost is $20.00 a year. They are going to be the client in a class action lawsuit to stop additional CAFO operations here in Bedford County. We need you to join them in order to increase their standing in the lawsuit. If you want to know more, please call Reid Farmer 615-330-7730.
Please share this alert with others, especially with those you know who reside in the Bedford County area.
