For mutton lovers, the tenderness of meat melting in the mouth and the aroma of spices turn every bite into pure comfort. But what if you follow a Ketogenic Lifestyle like me? Don’t worry! You don’t have to give up on your favorite dishes, like korma. Today, I’m sharing my delicious Keto Mutton Korma Recipe to satisfy your taste buds while aligning with the healthy Keto diet plan.
This yummy recipe carries the warmth of tradition while going well with my low-carb routine. I often prepare it for my weekend indulgence or even during family gatherings. The creamy and mildly spiced mutton packed with healthy fats often makes me forget that I’m even on a “diet.” Honestly, who feels restricted with a bowl full of aromatic mutton curry at the table?

Ingredients:
- 1Kg Mutton (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder (or Paprika)
- 3 tbsp Hung Curd (or Greek Yogurt)
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Pink Salt
- Small Cinnamon Stick
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 6-7 Peppercorn
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 4 Cloves
- 2-3 Green Cardamom
- 2 Black Cardamom
- Salt to taste
- 6 tbsp Deep Fried Onions
- Few Coriander Stems
Instructions:
- Take a large bowl, add 1 kg mutton in it along with 3 tbsp hung curd, 1 tbsp cumin powder, 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, and 1 1/2 tsp pink salt. Mix everything well and keep it aside to marinate for half an hour or 1 hour (or even longer).
- Take a multi-instant cooking pot, add 1 tbsp ghee, and heat over low-medium flame. Add a small cinnamon stick, 6-7 peppercorns, 2 bay leaves, 2 cloves, 2-3 green cardamoms, and 2 black cardamoms to it.
- Now, add marinated mutton to the pan. Keep stirring for 10 minutes till the oil separates from the mixture.
- Make the Onion-Coriander Paste: Add 6 tbsp of deep-fried onions to a grinder, some garlic cloves, and coriander stems, and mix well. Further, add it to the cooking mutton in a pan. Close the pot and let it cook at the low-meat setting in a multi-instant pot.
- Once it’s cooked, add salt to taste and garam masala and stir well.
- Serve it hot with rice, naan, or jeera rice.
