Keto Spinach Tikki (Hara Bhara Kebab) Recipe

Keto Spinach Tikki (Hara Bhara Kebab) Recipe

Last updated on March 16, 2026

I’m always in a foodie mood when it’s raining outside. I love curling up by the window, watching raindrops race down the glass, while savoring hot, crispy snacks with a steaming cup of tea. Following a Keto Lifestyle, I try to avoid the usual fried pakoras and often prepare my snacks with a Keto twist. Likewise, today’s Keto Spinach Tikki (or Hara Bhara Kebab) is not only delicious but healthy and low in carbohydrates. This makes it one of my most loved monsoon snacks.

To keep my hara bhara kebabs filling, nutritious, and aligned with my Keto diet, I added spinach and paneer to it with other healthy ingredients. Spinach is a powerhouse of antioxidants, iron, and vitamins. On the other hand, paneer adds a protein boost to my tasty tikkis. I also added some spices and a bit of butter to let you enjoy guilt-free snacking time while satiating both taste buds and health goals. This wholesome combination keeps the tikkis rich in flavour and nutrient-dense, with protein, healthy fats, and a crunchy texture thanks to the right amount of ground almonds.

  • 70g Coarse Ground Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Crushed Ginger

  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder

  1. Take a large bowl and add pureed spinach to it along with chopped medium-sized capsicum and grated paneer.
  2. Now, add all the mentioned ingredients into the bowl and mix well.
  3. Mix it till you attain a perfect dough-like consistency.
  4. Divide the mixture into small portions and start shaping the small portions into round tikkis or kebabs.
  5. Heat a flat pan on medium flame, apply butter inside the pan, and shallow-fry tikkis until both sides turn crispy, golden brown.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining tikkis too.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dip or low-carb chutney.
