But it doesn’t mean you cannot dig in some crispy, tasty alternatives like Keto Avocado Fries in the Air Fryer. It’s perfectly crunchy, delicious, and loaded with healthy fats.

A low-carb breading made using crushed pork rinds and almond flour gives these crispy delights an amazing golden crunch while keeping you aligned with your keto goals. Plus, the creamy avocado filling goes well with the crispy exterior, making each bite a delightful treat. And, thanks to the air fryer, you can enjoy the deep-fried texture without even a drop of oil in it.

Ingredients:

 

2 whole avocados

3 eggs

1 tsp cajun seasoning

1/2 cup almond flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups ground pork rinds / for vegetarians flax seed flour

2 tbsp water

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

 

Instructions:

  • Gently slice avocados into 1/4-inch slices for the ideal fries-like shape.
  • Now, take three dipping bowls to coat the avocado fries. The first bowl is for mixing cajun seasoning with almond flour and salt. In the second bowl, whisk eggs together with some water. The third bowl is for mixing together ground pork rinds with cayenne pepper and garlic powder.
  • Take each avocado slice and dip it into the almond flour mixture to coat the exterior completely.
  • Now, dip almond flour-coated avocado slices with the mixture of eggs in the second bowl. Work gently and shake off the excess amount.
  • After that, dip each avocado slices into the ground pork rind mixture.
  • Finally, air fry them by positioning a layer of breaded avocado fries in the tray. If you want you can sprinkle some olive oil or avocado oil.
  • Turn the air fryer up to 400 degrees and let the avocado slices air dry for 6 minutes.
  • Now, flip to the other side to continue air frying for 6 more minutes.
  • Once done, you need to remove the fries from the air fryer’s tray and repeat the process with the remaining breaded avocado slices.
  • Serve hot with a burger or any spicy sauce of your choice.
